Ian is an avid travel photographer . He has been published in various magazines both online and in print. Last year he was fortunate enough to go to Mongolia to cover the world’s longest horse race, The Mongol Derby. Ian is an avid rider himself. He spent several years in the UK doing medieval jousting. He grew up in The Natal midlands attending the very Prestigious Kings school in Nottingham road before matriculating from St Charles College. He found his love for photography while traveling Scotland. “I found a job basically replanting the Caledonian Forest in the highlands of Scotland. We would plant literally thousands of trees a week. One day I was standing on a hill top looking at the most incredibly scenery, Huge old Scots pine trees surrounding a loch and I wanted to capture that beauty. So I used most of the money I made planting trees to buy my very first camera.”
